چکیده
Abstract. Assessments of climate change impacts on runoff regimes are essential to adaptation and mitigation planning. Changing thus changing seasonal patterns water availability strongly influence various economic sectors such as agriculture, energy production, fishery also affect river ecology. In this study, we use new transient hydrological scenarios driven by the most up-to-date local projections for Switzerland, Swiss Climate Change Scenarios. These provide detailed information changes in their time emergence 93 rivers Switzerland under three Representative Concentration Pathways (RCPs): RCP2.6, RCP4.5, RCP8.5. allow be framed a function global mean temperature. Analysis of Streamflow Changes under Climate Change Using Rainfall-Runoff Model in the Kor River Basin
Abstract In this study, the predicted monthly temperature and rainfall data from HadCM3 model (base period, ۱۹۷۲-۲۰۰۱) and next period (۲۰۱۱-۲۰۴۰) under A2emission scenario were used to investigate the impacts of climate change on runoff variations in the Kor river basin. HadCM3 model output was downscaled based on a temporal downscaling approach (Change Factor) and spatial downscaling appro...
متن کاملMapping mean and variance of runoff in a river basin
The study presents an approach to represent the two first order moments of temporal runoff variability as a function of catchment area and aggregation time interval, and to map them in space. The problem is divided into two steps. First, the first order moment (the long term value) is analysed and mapped applying an interpolation procedure for river runoff. In a second step a simple random mode...
متن کاملRegime Shift Identification of Runoff and Sediment Loads in the Yellow River Basin, China
Runoff and sediment loads have exhibited significant changes over the past six decades in the Yellow River Basin, China. The current study evaluates the changing trends and regime shifts in runoff and sediment loads at both the annual and monthly time scales. The associated spatial and temporal variations are analyzed by a sequential t-test analysis of the regime shifts (STARS) approach and the...
متن کاملAffectability of time to runoff and runoff coefficient in small laboratory plots to application of organic mulch
Nowadays, organic mulches are used as protective cover for the soil surface. This study in order to investigate the effect of protective cover straw Colza on the components of start time and runoff coefficient in loam – sandy soil in laboratory scale and using a rain simulation with an intensity of 50 mm / h with a 10-minute duration has been done. For this purpose, three levels of protective co...
متن کاملChanges in climate and land use have a larger direct impact than rising CO2 on global river runoff trends.
The significant worldwide increase in observed river runoff has been tentatively attributed to the stomatal "antitranspirant" response of plants to rising atmospheric CO(2) [Gedney N, Cox PM, Betts RA, Boucher O, Huntingford C, Stott PA (2006) Nature 439: 835-838]. However, CO(2) also is a plant fertilizer. When allowing for the increase in foliage area that results from increasing atmospheric ...
